Parents/Guardians must complete and sign a Medical form before the child attends their first session, the form should be returned by email. The form can be downloaded by clicking the link above. It is the responsibility of Parents/Guardians to inform us of any medical conditions or disability which may be relevant to the child booked on to a tennis course or lesson. Players must also notify us of any change or deterioration of any medical condition or disability if applicable. We will keep this information confidential and handle such issues with discretion.
We support the LTA’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy. It is our commitment to include any such individuals within the programme wherever possible, but we reserve the right to refuse the booking if we are regrettably unable to accommodate the needs of the individual. We also operate a Safeguarding policy towards all our clients.
All coaches are fully LTA Licenced & Qualified, First Aid Trained and DBS checked.
Registration and payment should be completed prior to the start date of all lessons. If a course is undersubscribed it will be cancelled. The Head Coach may suggest alternative arrangements to clients.
We reserve the right to refuse entry to a course /session.
All lessons are for the named player and are not transferable.
All children booked onto junior tennis courses are fully supervised.
All children booked onto junior tennis courses and camps should bring appropriate weather protection on court at the beginning of the session. They are not permitted to leave the court without permission from the Coach.
Whilst playing, please make sure you follow these guidelines:
Try to stay at least 2 meters away from other players; do not make physical contact with them (such as shaking hands or high-fiving). Please ensure this distance is kept during game play and off the court during breaks.
When playing doubles, coordinate with your partner to maintain physical distancing.
Make sure you take sanitary precautions such as hand-washing both before and after playing.
Use headbands, hats, towels or wristbands to avoid touching your face during play.
Please ensure that you bring your own towels nad water bottles. Avoid sharing any food and avoid touching common surfaces such as courtgates, fences, benches etc.
Please stay at home if:
You are feeling unwell, and/or
You have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19.
If the weather forecast prior to the session is poor, a decision to cancel the lesson will
be made by the Head Coach as late as is reasonably possible. Whenever possible, customers
will be sent an email/text once a decision to cancel has been made. Clients may also contact
the Head Coach Mahmuda Jafarey for an update. Please bear in mind difficulties in trying to
predict the British weather. Our overall intention is for as many sessions as possible to go ahead.
If a session runs over half of the designated time and is cancelled due to weather conditions, the session will be considered a full session and no refund be issued.
If a session is cancelled or interrupted due to bad weather conditions before half of the session is completed, the Head Coach will offer an alternative session or a full refund.
In the unlikely event of insufficient numbers, we reserve the right to cancel courses in advance of the start date. A full refund will then be given.
If the participant is absent from a session for a reason other than OnTheBallTennis cancelling the session due to adverse weather, he/she is choosing to forfeit the time and there will be no refund.
Clients who cancel any coaching sessions less than 24 hours before start time will be liable to pay for the session/lesson in full.
